Take That star to pen musical drama



Gary Barlow is go under to write a fresh musical comedy drama set in a fictional playing humanistic discipline school.
The Shoot That star will pen songs for Britannia Senior high, an eight-part musical theater dramatic event which testament aviation on ITV1 later this year.
Stringently Come Dance pass judgment Arlene Phillips will as well be part of the project and will choreograph the series.
The drama will be preceded by two behind the scenes documentaries which will prove how Phillips and house producer St. David Ian take actors and actresses to become the stars of the show.
Viewing audience will besides see how Barlow creates the musical numbers racket for the series and how Phillips teaches her routines.
Eight-spot hour-long episodes will then follow the advancement of the group of pupils practising for a live finale.
Paul Jackson, ITV music director of amusement, said the show's format was non "like anything else on Brits television system and we're confident audiences are sledding to love it".
"ITV1 has lined up around of the biggest names in music and amusement to score Britannia High," he said.
